Camber-adjustable top mounts allow adjustment of the camber angle by moving the bearing position. This requires a large elongated hole in the top mount plate for the bearing's movement range. However, depending on driving conditions, the load transmitted from the damper can become a large external force, many times the axle load, centered on the top mount bearing. With conventional products, this causes the top mount plate to deform, as if rolling up the elongated hole for camber adjustment. The Beatrush Pillow Ball Top Mount addresses this weakness of camber-adjustable types by making the plate twice as thick as conventional products (varies by model) and machining only the mounting area to the body, preventing the bearing position from lowering and reducing damper stroke.

The bearing case, pillow ball nut, and pillow ball collar are machined from tough carbon steel (S45C) using high-precision CNC lathes. The pillow ball collar is used by inserting it into the bearing, similar to the pillow ball nut.
