Description

The platform forms the foundation of the vehicle structure. Among its components, the main frame, the basis of the chassis, is merely connected at the front and rear ends of its two frame rails by bumper housings or thin steel plates. Therefore, the body's torsional rigidity is weak. When load is applied to one wheel, such as during corner entry, the body twists, preventing the tires and suspension from functioning fully. The Front Frame Top Bar is installed in place of the bumper housing at the front end of the frame, restraining frame movement and improving torsional rigidity. It also contributes to reducing overhang weight.
