Front Frame Top Bar — Subaru WRX STI VAB, Subaru WRX S4 VAG, Subaru Levorg VMG

The platform forms the foundation of the vehicle structure. The main frame, which is the base of the chassis, is particularly critical. The front and rear ends of the two main frame rails are only connected by the bumper housings and thin steel plates. This results in weak torsional rigidity of the body. When load is concentrated on one wheel, such as during corner entry, the body twists, preventing the tires and suspension from functioning optimally. The Front Frame Top Bar is installed in place of the front bumper housing, restraining frame movement and improving torsional rigidity. It also contributes to reducing unsprung weight.
