Front Frame Top Bar — Subaru BRZ ZC6, Subaru BRZ ZD8, Toyota 86 ZN6

The platform forming the foundation of the vehicle structure. Particularly, the main frame of the chassis is only connected at the front and rear ends of the two frames by bumper housings or thin steel plates. This results in weak torsional rigidity of the body; when load is applied to one wheel, such as during corner entry, the body twists, preventing tires and suspension from functioning fully. The Front Frame Top Bar is installed in place of the bumper housing at the front end of the frame, restraining frame movement and improving torsional rigidity. It also reduces overhang weight.
