Description
The platform forms the foundation of the vehicle structure. Among its components, the main frame of the chassis consists of two frame rails whose front and rear ends are connected only by the bumper horsement and thin steel plates. Consequently, the body's torsional rigidity is weak. When load is concentrated on one wheel, such as during corner entry, the body twists, preventing the tires and suspension from functioning fully. The Front Frame Top Bar is installed in place of the bumper horsement at the front ends of the frame rails, restraining frame movement and enhancing torsional rigidity.
