Description
Intake temperature greatly affects engine output.
High-temperature intake air can cause power loss and trigger the engine check light.
To reduce hot air intake, the air cleaner is enclosed in a box. Through prototyping various diameters and shapes of the suction pipe, we identified the optimal layout that increases both power and torque across the entire rev range, from low to high RPM. This is an intake system with good throttle response and a powerful feel.
For the air cleaner, we use a dry type (A'PEX Power Intake) that has minimal adverse effects on the air flow meter.
In Type-2, an acrylic window has been added to the lid of the conventional intake kit's air cleaner box, allowing you to check the condition of the filter without opening the lid.
