Description
This is a flexible draw stiffener installed on the upper part inside the trunk room, adopted in the S209 and WRX S4 STI Sport#. By connecting the base parts of the left and right C-pillars and applying tension, it moderately suppresses torsional deformation in the rear part of the vehicle body. Enhancing rear followability improves handling response and driving stability.
When used together with the separately sold 'Guard Bar (Flexible Draw Stiffener Rear)', it prevents deformation or damage to the Flexible Draw Stiffener Rear caused by contact with cargo during loading into the trunk room or during sudden braking while driving.
