Description
A valve system that reduces crankcase internal pressure and lowers engine resistance. Universal for VB/VN, BT5, SK5, VAG/VMG/VM4, SJG, BMG/BRG series.
By adopting a special reed valve structure, this crankcase internal pressure control valve system suppresses crankcase pressure rise and maintains a slight negative pressure state. Typically, in reciprocating internal combustion engines, crankcase pressure increases due to piston reciprocation and rising engine temperature, creating a slight positive pressure state (approx. 1-3 kPa) which exists as part of the engine's internal losses, contributing to engine resistance.
The T-REV BP system, based on a reed valve format with excellent responsiveness to continuous pressure fluctuations, employs a special one-way valve. It handles rapidly repeating pressure fluctuations, enabling appropriate and precise pressure control. It is set to maintain a slight negative pressure state during operation (approx. -5 to -10 kPa at idle). This achieves overall improvement in engine response and drivability, as well as reduced resistance.

*Blow-by gas expelled is recirculated to the intake path.
