Description
This is a rear brake pad for the WRX STI (VA) D-type upgraded to front 6-pot/rear 2-pot configuration. When combined with the previously released brake pad F (ST262964S081), it enhances braking performance across various conditions from winding roads to urban driving.
By using carbon ceramic as the primary material, braking μ (friction coefficient) is improved by approximately 25% in the fade region (during high temperature and high load conditions). The pads are tuned to balance all required elements: direct pedal feel, high brake controllability, and excellent fade resistance.
Additionally, the formation of carbon's characteristic transfer film on the disc surface improves protection for both the disc and pads.
Includes wear indicators to notify when wear limits are reached. Chamfered edges.
