Front Pillow Ball Top Mount

The camber-adjustable top mount allows for camber angle adjustment by moving the bearing position. This requires a large elongated hole in the top mount plate to accommodate the bearing's movement range. However, depending on driving conditions, the load transmitted from the damper can become an external force several times the axle weight centered on the top mount bearing, causing conventional top mount plates to deform as if peeling back the elongated hole for camber adjustment. The Beatrush Pillow Ball Top Mount addresses this weakness of camber-adjustable types by doubling the plate thickness (varies by model) compared to conventional parts and machining only the mounting area to the chassis. This prevents the bearing position from lowering and reduces damper stroke loss.

Bearing case, pillow ball nut, and pillow ball collar are precision-machined from tough carbon steel (S45C) using high-precision CNC lathes. The pillow ball collar is used by inserting it into the bearing, similar to the pillow ball nut.
