Camber-adjustable top mounts allow for camber angle adjustment by moving the bearing position. This requires a large elongated hole in the top mount plate to accommodate the bearing's range of movement. However, depending on driving conditions, the load transmitted from the damper can become a significant external force, many times the axle load, centered on the top mount bearing. In conventional products, this can cause the top mount plate to deform, curling around the elongated hole for camber adjustment. The Beatrush Pillow Ball Top Mount addresses this weakness of camber-adjustable designs by doubling the plate thickness (varies by model) compared to conventional parts and machining only the mounting area to the chassis. This prevents the bearing position from lowering and reducing damper stroke.

The bearing case, pillow ball nut, and pillow ball collar are manufactured from tough carbon steel (S45C) using high-precision CNC lathe machining. The pillow ball collar is used by inserting it into the bearing, similar to the pillow ball nut.
